Description

1. Introduction

Gliclize‑M Tablet is a combination anti-diabetic drug used for managing Type 2 Diabetes when diet, exercise, or single-drug therapy is not sufficient. It helps maintain normal blood glucose levels and prevents diabetes complications.

2. Composition

The tablet contains two medicines:

1. Gliclazide

   • A sulfonylurea class drug.

   • Stimulates pancreatic β-cells to release insulin.

2. Metformin

   • A biguanide class drug.

   • Reduces hepatic glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity.
