Each extended-release tablet contains:
- Metoprolol Succinate 25 mg
Mechanism of Action
Metoprolol is a selective beta-1 adrenergic blocker. It slows the heart rate, reduces the force of heart contraction, and lowers blood pressure, thereby decreasing the heart’s oxygen demand and improving cardiac efficiency.
