Glemekem MP1 Tablet is a combination oral antidiabetic medicine containing Glimepiride 1 mg + Metformin Hydrochloride 500 mg (Extended Release) + Pioglitazone 15 mg. It is used to treat Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in adults when diet, exercise, and dual therapy do not provide adequate blood sugar control. It helps lower blood glucose by increasing insulin secretion, reducing glucose production in the liver, and improving insulin sensitivity. Common side effects include hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), nausea, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, weight gain, and edema (swelling). It should be taken with food as directed by the physician.
