Glemihelp M2 Tablet is a combination oral antidiabetic medicine containing Glimepiride 2 mg + Metformin Hydrochloride 500 mg (Prolonged Release). It is used to treat Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in adults when diet, exercise, or a single medicine alone does not provide adequate blood sugar control. Glimepiride increases insulin release from the pancreas, while Metformin decreases glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity. Common side effects include hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, headache, and metallic taste. It should be taken with meals as prescribed by the doctor.

Indications

Mechanism of Action

Dosage
