Description

1. Introduction

Melacare Glow (Melacare Cream) is a triple-combination topical drug used in dermatology for treating moderate to severe melasma and facial hyperpigmentation. It helps reduce dark patches by decreasing melanin production and promoting skin renewal.

2. Composition

The cream contains three active ingredients:

1. Hydroquinone (2%)

   • Skin-lightening agent

   • Reduces production of melanin pigment responsible for skin darkening.

2. Mometasone Furoate (0.1%)

   • Corticosteroid

   • Reduces inflammation, redness, itching, and swelling of skin.

3. Tretinoin (0.025%)

   • Vitamin A derivative (retinoid)

   • Increases skin cell turnover and exfoliation.
