Description
1. Composition
Rabeprazole Sodium (20 mg) – Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI)
Levosulpiride SR (75 mg) – Prokinetic agent
2. Mechanism of Action
Rabeprazole blocks the gastric proton pump (H⁺/K⁺-ATPase) in stomach lining cells, thereby decreasing acid secretion.
Levosulpiride increases gastrointestinal motility by blocking dopamine receptors and enhancing acetylcholine release, helping food move properly through the stomach.
